Printwear & Promotion LIVE! is always a fertile ground when it comes to new garment decoration equipment launches. At this year’s show in February our numerous equipment suppliers will be demonstrating the very latest product developments on their stands ready for you to discover and explore.
When the doors open for Printwear & Promotion LIVE! next month, you can be among the very first garment decorators in the UK to witness a wide range of equipment launches.
Everything from advancements in embroidery machines to the very latest developments in direct to film printing will be on display and demonstrated live. Experts from across the industry will also be on hand to answer any burning questions you may have when it comes to getting the best results from your equipment.
Direct to film printing…
At last year’s exhibition in April, direct to film printing was definitely the main attraction. This year expect to see exciting new developments from exhibitors such as Resolute DTF and TheMagicTouch, among others.
AJS Embroidery Services, although typically known for being a distributor of Tajima embroidery machines, will be bringing along to the exhibition the Polytech Pro DTF printer.

Scott Mason said: “This printer is the game-changing next step for the DTF market, giving the end-user the ability to achieve a larger more accurate colour gamut with the aid of the additional four spot colours to the machine, the film roller supports are now three-way adjustable and the additional film stabiliser fans have increased vacuum.”
AJS will also be exhibiting a Bofa Oracle pure air unit, which is the only dedicated fume extraction for the DTF printing process in the UK. The extremely large filter capacity and high airflow ensure the air pressure remains constant, giving a better feel and handle to the transfers. The Oracle uses a four-stage method of removing the contaminates from the air before venting to the outside with the aid of particulate, heap gas filters with an automatic fluid drain.

If you head over to YES Group’s stand you will find the DTF-24H2 direct to film transfer printer from DigitalHeat FX. The DTF-24H2 produces brilliant digital transfer sheets, handling everything from single colour shirt labels to left chest logos to full-size prints. The DTF printer uses PET transfer film which is translucent so you can see the design underneath the film when you later heat-press it onto the garment. The PET film has a thickness of around 0.75mm which allows for better transfer characteristics. The films used with the DTF-24H2 are both roll-fed and designed for a cold peel.
YES Group will be showing this printer alongside the latest DTF powder applicator dryer that boasts a reduced energy consumption to save money in these challenging times.
New exhibitor Inkfuse DTF will be showcasing a number of DTF solutions, in particular Gangr software. Gangr makes transfer artwork ganging super simple for DTF print shops. It is the first software of its kind that manages the entire customer management process, where the customer can easily upload and create their own custom artwork gang sheets in minutes. Features include; easy artwork duplication, scaling, repositioning, grouping, canvas fill, artwork overlay protection and super nesting.

Richard Mitchell said: “Gangr helps print shops easily manage the entire printing process, customer management and helps eliminate management headaches, print errors, wasted resource time and speeds up the turnaround time to process DTF transfer orders for customers. It’s a game-changer for DTF transfer print shops!”
If you’re in the market for direct to film print equipment then a visit to Printwear & Promotion LIVE! in February is a must. There is no other exhibition in the UK that offers the opportunity to see these machines and the process demonstrated live, alongside the chance to speak to those in the know.

The Coloreel can be added to the Melco range of modular embroidery machines to enable instant thread colouring on-demand.

Digital printing…
Several new direct to garment printers and white toner printers will be receiving their exhibition debut at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! next month.

These are heavy duty printers with a choice of three models; the NG 120, NG 130 and NG 140. Users have the choice of three different printing speeds and a large print area of up to 50x70cm.

Also on stand will be the Uninet IColor 540 white toner printer, which will be shown for the very first time at the exhibition. This A4 printer gives you an economical way of printing full colour prints and dark or light coloured textiles and hard substrates.
Visitors will also be able to view the Kornit Atlas Max industrial DTG printer with built in pre-treatment. This printer sets the new standard for high volume, on-demand printing. Users will be able to gain a competitive advantage and offer a wider set of improved capabilities, including Kornit’s XDi 3D decorations.
The GTX600 DTG printer from Brother was launched in January 2022. Although not its first outing at the exhibition, this printer returns to the MHM Direct GB stand for live demonstrations. This printer was designed specifically for the high output operator with industrial requirements. The GTX600 offers amazing quality prints like its older Brothers, except it produces them much faster and cheaper because of the bulk ink feeding, adjustable print resolution and even less maintenance.

Jordan Potter said: “No matter where you are along the business scale, Brother’s arsenal provides industry leading printing equipment for the whole market.”
For other digital printing solutions, you may wish to consider visiting TheMagicTouch, Xpres, Grafityp and YES Group.
Screen printing…
It is always pleasing to see advancements in screen print technology feature at the exhibition. Despite the onslaught of new DTF and DTG print equipment flooding the market in recent years, manufacturers in this field are still producing inventive carousels and presses to enable print shops to keep at the top of their game.
If you want to see a new machine in action then head over to the Screen Print World stand, where you will be able to see M&R’s Copperhead Rival. These presses are the benchmark in automatic screen printing presses, combining highest quality components, leading-class craftsmanship and high-speed production to create an outstanding press at an affordable price. An electric indexing system enables extremely smooth and quiet operation, while electric printheads, tool-free squeegee/ floodbar adjustment, pneumatic screen frame clamps and independent squeegee/ flood speeds provide operators with all the time-saving features needed for quick setups.

Also on stand will be the Copperhead Charge; an electric conveyor dryer. The unique design can easily cure water-based, plastisol and DTG prints with its advanced airflow system and edge-to-edge heat chamber. It’s ideal for business start-ups or medium-sized print shops as it can handle all your curing needs.
